The new MANHATTAN glass from Duralex is manufactured to last as long as its namesake drink and that, by all accounts, has already been since the 1800s. A MANHATTAN glass has to be tough to tolerate being chilled in the freezer and sterilized in a hot commercial dishwasher. Duralex has designed their MANHATTAN glasses to be a "go-to" glass for spirits and are frequently abused. The new MANHATTAN glass from Duralex comes in three sizes (two low ball and one high ball) and features faceted lines to show off the color of the liquors. The glasses are available in three sizes and are toughened through a tempering process to withstand the rigors of a professional bar. Sounds like a perfect upgrade to help differentiate your bar and cocktail selections. From France, Duralex celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2015 and marks this year with new glassware for each season. Each product is carefully designed so it could be a favorite for a lifetime: simple design, durability, clarity and cheer. Duralex has been manufacturing drinking glasses in France for 70 years and invented tempered glass in 1939. It is the only glass manufacturing company that manufacturers all of its products in France. To that, all we can add is “cheers!” For more information on Duralex and its new MANHATTAN glassware, go here: Duralex: New MANHATTAN Glass Is as Tough as its Namesake Drink Duralex introduces the PICARDIE Tumblers in Amber, a nostalgic, yellow-orange-brown color that is both festive and earthy. Amber blends well with gold, orange and earth tones and is an ideal match for bittersweet, fall foliage and evergreen centerpieces.
The new GIGOGNE Mug and Saucer from Duralex is the clear choice for serving coffee, tea and espresso. Duralex expands its coffee and tea collection with the new GIGOGNE mug and saucer, made of an extremely high-quality, tempered glass that remains clear and scratch free, even with heavy use. These mugs and saucers feature a minimal, classic aesthetic and durable construction. Four times stronger than other glass mugs and saucers, the GIGOGNE mugs are designed for residential and commercial use. The new GIGOGNE from Duralex design creates a stylish, understated look that complements any tabletop. And, of course, Duralex's new GIGOGNE is made in France. In fact, Duralex is still the only glassware company to manufacture its entire product line exclusively in France. Duralex International has been manufacturing drinking glasses in France for more then 80 years and was the inventor of tempered glass in 1939. But, in case you need a little refresher course, here's a great - and short - video from CraftBeer.com
A week that lasts eleven days! Love it! Cheers. Duralex presents UNIE, glassware designed to create a memorable presentation for beer tastings at the bar or the table. Made in France of tempered glass, these glasses raise the bar in beer tastings -- offering clarity and durability for years. An artisanal crafted beer should be presented in a scratch-free, ultra-clear drinking glass. UNIE from Duralex offers this enduring transparency, revealing the complexity and beauty of a sensational beer. Duralex glassware, the mainstay of bistros and taverns in Europe, withstands the rigors of constant use. Duralex owes its birth to the industrial patent for molded, tempered glass, developed in 1939 in the La Chapelle Saint-Mesmin factory. This industrial process gives glassware perfect transparency and lasting clarity, and makes it practically unbreakable. The tempered glasses are equally suitable for cold or hot drinks, conveniently stackable, impact and chip resistant, microwave-proof and dishwasher-safe. Duralex is the only glass manufacturing company that manufacturers all of its products in France. To view more Duralex products, go here: http://food-service.duralexusa.com/

But it is also much more… Duralex owes its birth to the Saint-Gobain group and the industrial patent for moulded, tempered glass, developed in 1936 in the La Chapelle Saint-Mesmin factory. This industrial process gives the tumbler a perfect transparency and lasting clarity, and makes it practically unbreakable. Since its creation, the expertise and know-how of its collaborators have given the brand its international renown with its unbreakable tumblers whose pure, simple style is never outdated.
