Here are just some of the locations where we know that we have readers of TabletopJournal and the TabletopJournal BULLETIN newsletter. There are many more locations and readers, however, these are the locations that we can identify. Obviously, with the internet, we cannot identify everyone who checks us out....after all, who do you think we are - the NSA?
Seriously, we're grateful and humbled that TabletopJournal continues to be read by so many and in so many far-away places. We believe strongly in the idea of the role that tabletop plays in the overall dining experience and will continue to preach this message, but your support and readership is much appreciate. Last month over 40,000 of you checked us out! So...thank you....and know that we'll work hard every day to continue to earn your readership.

By keeping a consistent brand message and executing it cosistently in all it does, Chupacabra prepares its customers for a specific brand experience and then it delivers. Important stuff in a world of overhype. By keeping things simple and consistent, they also developed a following that isn't afraid to evangelize Chupacabra's efforts....result: great word of mouth advertising and a little "elfreebo" advertising on a nearby parking meter. Branding. Nicely ... and simply, done. Chupacabra. Oh....and some pretty damn good barbacoa, too! We write often about what a benevolent industry the hospitality industry is, but often we focus on the efforts in America. But, the idea of giving back is not confined to America’s hospitality industry participants. Such giving and support of others is a global phenomenon. The U.K.’s Chefs Adopt a School program is just one more example of top industry culinary industry professionals lending a hand to help and to educate others. Chefs Adopt a School was founded in 1990 by the Academy of Culinary Arts - Britain's leading professional association of head chefs, head pastry chefs, restaurant managers and suppliers. CAAS is a national charity which teaches children, in a holistic way, about food, food provenance, food growing, healthy eating, nutrition, hygiene and cookery. Professional chefs deliver sessions in the classroom which range in content from the four tastes and five senses to advanced practical cookery. The charity reaches over 21,000 children every year working with primary, secondary, Special Educational Needs and hospital schools as well as pupil referral units, sports centers and food festivals. CAAS believes that every child should be taught about the importance of food and its significance in our lives.

Wynn Resort is one of the most well-known hotels in Las Vegas. Located on the buzzing Las Vegas Boulevard, the hotel boasts with attractions such as The Lake of Dreams waterfall and lavish La Reve production show. Since its opening in 2005, Wynn has earned AAA five diamond, Forbes five star and Michelin five star ratings, solidifying its position as one of the finest resorts and casino in the world. The Glass Company recently collaborated with Wynn’s Executive Pastry Chef Pierre Gatel on creating a dessert display stand for a special event held at Wing Lei restaurant. The hotel offers an impressive choice of 10 fine dining restaurants, 10 casual dining venues and 6 exclusive bars and lounges, and has more Forbes award-winning restaurants than any other resort in the US. Wing Lei is a fine dining Asian restaurant, specializing in the “Haute Chinese” cuisine with a mix of Cantonese, Shanghai and Szechuan flavors prepared using Western cooking techniques. The restaurant was the first Asian restaurant in the US to receive a coveted Michelin Star rating and was voted Best Chinese Restaurant in Las Vegas. To create a centerpiece-like display for individual dessert servings The Glass Company used their large “frame” buffet elevation design. The display is designed with a massive rectangular metal frame and four tiers of wavy glass platters, for beautiful double-sided presentation. In order to blend well with the opulent decor of the restaurant, The Glass Company incorporated elements in extra clear glass, creating a neat yet upscale look for this dessert display stand. The result was a beautiful, understated dessert display suitable for a fine dining venue.
