Now, Rolf Glass has a terrific reclaimed story with its GLACIER GLASS tumblers. Rolf Glass is an American (located in Pennsylvania) cut glass studio that creates crystal and glassware with original distinctive standard or custom images to suit any menu concept or theme. Rolf Glass has dozens of standard designs, from palm trees and dragonflies to rodeo horses and Tuscan olive branches, that are all very artistically etched into their glassware. So, besides being incredibly nice people, the folks at Rolf Glass are quite artistic and creative, as well. Recently, Rolf Glass wanted to create a product that would make a difference and help spread awareness for repurposing or reclaiming. Rolf Glass designer, Paula Sansone-Johnson, combined her glass cutting skills with her manufacturing experience by using state of the art diamond-wheel engraving technology to create unique designs that completely alter the look and feel of the wine bottles. The result is a sexy re-purposed 12oz antique blue DOF or 16oz Highball! Recently the company has added a pitcher, as well. Rolf Glass also donates a percentage of all sales to help spread environmental awareness, one bottle at a time. The design itself, mixed with the blue tint of the glass, gives each piece the look of you guessed it…glacier ice. And so, the new collection was born - GLACIER GLASS. For those hotel and restaurant operators who are interested in reinforcing their brand image of being earth-friendly and environmentally sensitive, GLACIER GLASS from Rolf Glass may be the perfect glassware.
